A Broken Heart (w/ @mwah) (This one's kinda old, so it's a bit cringy, but the interaction between Ferretpelt and Lambpaw was interesting) My character: Ferretpelt Mwah's character: Lambpaw
“Ferretpelt wandered in, padding along through the clearing, wishing he could have walked in with Lambpaw beside him. He knew she was in the throngs of ThunderClan cats travelling with him, but he knew nothing of her state. Would she be angry? Was she hurt? Was her mental state injured in some way? Sighing, he dispersed from the group and weaved in and out of the throngs of cats in the gathering area, many scents wafted through his nose. He settled on a smooth patch of sand and sat back on his haunches, resting his tail lightly over his paws. His green gaze gaze scanned the crowds and they landed on an unmistakable, distinct curly, white ball of fluff nearby, talking with some other apprentices. Getting to his paws, he stood, sauntering slowly that direction. When he reached them, he gently nudged Lambpaw's shoulder, interrupting her conversation. "Um... Hi... How are you feeling...? he gestured with his tail around him, indicating he wanted her to follow him so they could walk around. He waited for her to join him, his tail swaying back and forth, a nervous habit. He just couldn't sit still, not right now. Not after everything that had happened. He scanned around him, his ears perked as he just listened to the going ons around him.”“ Lambpaw chatted meekly with the other arguably more talkative apprentices much less panicky than earlier. However, the loss of the panic gave way to a new emotion, guilt. Why did she have to freak out so much over such a menial thing as a big shell!? She really was such an idiot, she thought cringing internally before putting on a fake smile and trying her best not to stutter as she told Lilacpaw that her trying to dye her perfectly pretty chestnut fur to a literally deathberry red was such a good idea. (Which it wasn't.) Lambpaw then when she was nudged let out a defining cry, "GAH! GAH!!! H-H-H-HELP ME--oh I-I-I-I doing fine Ferretpelt t-t-thank y-you f-f-fo-r asking."" Lambpaw squeaked embarrassment seeping from her pelt as she began to anxiously follow Ferretpelt, "H-H-H-H-H-H-How a-are y-you?" She sniffled dejectedly starting to feel panicky again.” “Ferretpelt was quiet for a few moments, his whiskers twitching thoughtfully. He kept his gaze forwards, then turned to Lambpaw, a soft smile on his maw. "I'm doing okay, just worried about you. You really scared me earlier. I don't like to see you in that state; it pains me. You... You mean too much to me, Lambpaw..." he playfully flicked her ear lightly with his tail, smiling much more now. "So, uh... It seems you are feeling better... I'm glad..." he leaned down to nuzzle her cheek with his own, a purr deep in his chest.” “"Yeah, i-i-i-i-it--GAH! H-h-h-h-happens a lot...a-a-a-a-ctually...b-b-b-but don't w-w-w-ww-worry I r-r-rr-rr-r-ight as rain now~" Lambpaw mewed, letting at the smallest of broken purrs as she nervously chocked her head several times to the left side the nuzzle surprising her, "I-I-II-I'm g-g-g-glad too~" She cooed before snapping her head back to wonder, what if the name of the clans was she doing!? Lambpaw never enjoyed intimacy or physical touch before so why now was it making her so calm? Maybe it was... no, it couldn't be. Her curling white fur and thin gangly legs then stiffened becoming rather rigid as she became more troubled, "I-I-I-I-I-I'm sorry F-f--ferretpelt b-b-but I c-c-can't do this... Y-y-y--y-you and me a-a-a-a-re to--Argh! D-D-D-D-Different to y-y-y--you know..." She looked at her paws before staring at the tom with a bittersweet look in her amber orbs, "work."” “Ferretpelt gazed at Lambpaw a moment, his blueish green gaze a bit confused. As she spoke, he sat back on his haunches, resting his tail lightly over his paws. He was silent for a few moments, trying to think of what to say in response. He let out a quiet sigh and gazed at his paws. "Lambpaw, I... I care about you a lot, y... You know, and, I have... Never thought of myself to be good enough for you. I don't have your kindness or purity, not like you. I have done things in the past that I regret now. But you... You've never had to kill a cat in battle, and you have never broken the warrior code... I don't deserve you, but... You're beautiful, Lambpaw. You may not think so, but... You are beautiful, inside and out... And..." he looked up, gazing at her with adoration and compassion in his gaze. "I... Love you, Lambpaw. You've been in my heart since you were a kit and I was an apprentice... And, I know you're a bit too young right now, but... One day, I want to be your mate..." he gazed at his paws again, shuffling them nervously as he waited to see what Lambpaw would respond with.” “Lambpaw let out a sigh closing her eyes before beginning to speak, "F-F-Ferretpelt...I l-l-like you! I r-r-r-r-r-really do it's j-j-j-just...you know... not in that way." She mewed hoping the 'friendzone' she was about to do didn't hurt the tom-cat to much, "We're g-g-g-g-g-great-GAH! Friends b-b-but we'll never be anything else! Okay!?" Lambpaw then questioned getting incredibly flustered by the tom's all but, declaration of love. She then started to start to scoot away slightly noticing how close she was to her friend. "I'm n-n-not perfect e-e-e-e-e-either or beautiful for that matter! S-S-S-S--So j-j-j-j-just stop w-w-with all this l-l-lovebird talk!" Lambpaw fizzed beginning to turn from flustered to hostile, an emotion she hardly had, before he said something that just made her explode, "YOU'RE NOT GOING TO EVER BE MY MATE AND YOU DON'T LOVE ME, NOBODY LOVES ME!" She suddenly sibilated her eyes becoming furious slits as her fur bristle and teeth pulled back into a snarl. Lambpaw at the moment had remarkably turned out to be a wolf in sheep's clothing.” “Ferretpelt's eyes widened fearfully, and he cowered, ears pinned back against his head. He was visibly shaking, fear and sadness and regret in his eyes as he backed away, tail tucked between his legs. "I... I'm sorry, Lambpaw... I... I guess I... Should just go... I... I'm sorry..." he then turned tail and ran, wailing sobs of sadness.” “Oh gosh... Lambpaw thought, blinking in surprise as she watched Ferretpelt quiver and back away. She had meant to make him back off, but not cry and sprint away! Frowning she opened her mouth before closing it again, and again, and again safe to say she looked like a dead fish. "W-W-Well...that could h--h-h-h-h-have went better..." Lambpaw mumbled not regretting her 'friendzone' but very much regretting the way she went about it, "Heh, m-m-m-m-maybe I s-s-should c-c-change my name to Wolfpaw..." She bitterly jabbed at herself grimacing as she looked around for perhaps somecat new to chat and clear her mind with.”
Unexpected Reunion (w/ @mwah) (What happened when Ferretpelt and Lambpaw, now Lambglow, ran into each other for the first time after so many moons) My character: Ferretpelt Mwah's character: Lambglow
“It was a bitterly cold day, and the wind nipped at the skin of cats out in the open, it was hard to keep warm, and prey was little to none, so hunting was long, hard and grueling, so there was a lot of cats getting sick, aswell . A long, lean black and white shape was trudging through the leaves, a thick squirrel in his jaws, the tom was shivering and he was freezing his tail off , his eyes were closed tight and his ears were pinned back to protect his face from the wind, he was on his way back to camp. It had been six moons since Lambpaw, now Lambglow, had broken his heart, during her warrior ceremony, he had sat by himself in the very back of the crowd, watching her look so proud and happy, where all he could do was feel somber that he couldn't be with her , every day it felt like his heart was broken all over again. He cried every night, he wanted to be with her so much; he still adored and loved her, he didn't have a heart for anyone else, he just felt like he would be betraying himself in a way. He shook his head sadly and pushed on through the cold winds, when suddenly he bumped into a small forme, he cried out, causing the squirrel to fall from his jaws, he leaped back. "Ah! I'm sorry! Uh... um, excuse me..." he opened his eyes and picked up the squirrel, was about to move around the other cat when he saw how familiar she was. He dropped the squirrel and backed up again slightly. "L... Lambglow?!?!" he suddenly felt very reserved and frightened, as if she would yell at him again, he gazed down at his paws.” “The days had started to blend together. One after the next, after the next, and so on. Life just didn't seem as interesting as it once had been to Lambglow, for a number of reasons. Apprenticeship was over, she never really made any friends, and even if she did it wasn't as if her anxiety hadn't improved. There were days when she just wandered through the territory, aimlessly. That is how she met him, afterall. He was handsome, so very, very handsome, and he seemed so sweet too. But that wasn't the case, as it seemed. She let out a nervous huff, it seemed she still hadn't learned her lesson, as the walks hadn't ended. They were a way to relieve stress off the curly furred molly, one of her only ways. Taking a few steps, Lambglow only zoned out more, barely even aware of the soft crunch of the snow underneath her paws. So it was no surprise then when she bumped into something. Letting a soft squeak she looked up only to be even more shocked. "F-ferretpelt!" Lambglow's eyes widened and she fully snapped back to focus. How? She hadn't seen the tom since the gathering, when she had rejected him. Memories surged back and though she didn't feel guilty, Lambglow surely did feel sad. Ferretpelt was yet another cat she pushed away. "It's....it's been awhile...huh?" Voice remaining soft she tried to calm herself, putting on the tiniest of fake grins.” “Ferretpelt just stood there, gazing at the molly he had loved, and still loved, he just could not believe she was right there, in front of him after all these moons, alot of issues had befallen him since that day; his worst being that he has been getting terrible seizures, and he was almost killed a few times. The seizures were random, so he never knew when he would have one, but things like the cold, overworking himself, stress , all those things could certainly cause one, which is why he was on his way back to camp to rest. He hated being like this; he felt weak and useless, he was a young warrior, why did he feel so old though ? He hopefully had a long life ahead of him, and he didn't want to feel like he would collapse, he sighed and was snapped from his thoughts as she spoke, he gave her a tiny smile. "Y-yeah, it has, Lambglow..." the black and white tom glanced away, his green eyes filled with sorrow. "How... how have you been?" he nervously shuffled his paws, his tail tip flicking restlessly , he wasn't really sure what to say.” ((ONGOING))
An Unexpected Bond (w/ @GingaFan) (this one's kinda old so it's cringy, but I thought I should put it here since what had been happening after it was starting to develope into a good story. And since it was turning into a good story, I thought I would put how Jaguartooth and Lightpaw met each other.) My character: Jaguartooth GingaFan's character: Lightpaw
“It was near time for New Leaf, and the atmosphere was getting warmer and the air was filled with birdsong. A dark orange tom was chasing a rabbit near the border to ShadowClan territory, and he didn't even notice when he crossed over it. He kept chasing the prey, only to have a heavy weight slam into him. He yowled and tried to swipe his claws at the she-cat.” “A black she-cat, probably seven moons old, hissed at the tom. "Who are you, and what are you doing here, ThunderClanner?" She hissed, glaring at the tom. Feeling a little pity and thinking it was against the rules to try and kill a cat from any Clan, she let go.” “Jaguartooth gazed down at the young she-cat. She was apparently an apprentice, by how he was almost twice her size. She was kinda cute, looking all angry. He sighed and sheathed his claws so he didn't appear threatening. "Look, I... don't want to hurt you... I... it was my fault I crossed the border. I was chasing prey and wasn't paying attention. I... I'll be... going now." He turned on his paws and took a pawstep back towards the way he came.” “Lightpaw admitted to herself she felt really sorry. "Wait! I need to talk to you." She called out. Lightpaw could sense that Jaguartooth wasn't like those rude ThunderClan cats, and he seemed to think she was a good ShadowClan cat unlike the others.” “The dark orange tom glanced back at the black she-cat. His ears flattened a bit sadly. "Wh... Why do you want to talk to me...? Nobody talks to me..." He perked his ears back up and tilted his head. Maybe this cat could be a friend...?
He turned back around and sat back on his haunches, curling his tail neatly around his paws. He smiled at her. "Um... what's your name?" He asked, whiskers quivering with curiosity.” “Lightpaw smiled. "My name's Lightpaw." She meowed. "Don't worry, I'm pretty nice, but overprotective. You seem nice, why doesn't anyone want to talk to you?" Deep inside Lightpaw felt her heart beat so fast she thought she would end up spitting it out!” “Jaguartooth nods. "Well, pleased to make your acquaintance, Lightpaw. My name is Jaguartooth..." He perks his ears. "That... is understandable, all Clan cats are bound by the warrior code to protect their Clan's territory. But I promise I will bring you no harm..."
His eyes turned sad at the she-cat's next words. "Because... my father was a murderer... He... killed three warriors in cold blood... so my Clan thinks..." He spat his next words. "That just because I'm his son, I'll be the same." He growled a moment then collapsed on the ground. He stretched his front legs and flicked his tail as he glanced sideways. "All I want is for my Clan to accept me. But that hasn't been accomplished. They just hate me..." He shook his head and glanced up at Lightpaw. "Of course, if they find out I have been talking to a ShadowClan cat, they'll just hate me more..." He sighed and started to groom his chest, his tail tip flicking.” “Lightpaw had an idea suddenly. "How about when you are about to meet with me, you can say you're going on a patrol?" She asked. "Then they'll never know!" Then thinking about what had happened with Jaguartooth's father, she sighed. "I'm really sorry about how bad your father was." Lightpaw meowed. "And don't listen to anyone being rude to you, they're just a bunch of mouse-brains!"” “Jaguartooth glanced up at Lightpaw, his expression amused. "I never agreed to start meeting you... But, we can, if you want. I don't have friends back at my Clan..." He shrugged at her next words. "Yeah, maybe not... But we must be careful... what about Seastones? Cats don't go there often unless it's the Gathering or if they're on their way to talk to StarClan." He smiled. "Thank you... I know they are, but it gets lonely... I guess I just have to deal with the distrust and insults." He sighed and got to his paws and reached a paw out, waiting for her to put her paw on top of his.
"Friends?", he asked.” “Lightpaw purred. "We can start meeting at Seastones." She meowed, and placed a paw on Jaguartooth's. "Friends." She said.” “Jaguartooth got to his paws. "Well, I ought to be going. Shall we meet at Seastones, say... Midnight? I will just assume it's alright with you." He meowed, his tail tip flicking. He gazed at the young black she cat a moment before flicking an ear in farewell and disappearing back into ThunderClan territory.” “Lightpaw got to her paws and headed off, making sure she wouldn't be late for training with Furzeberry.”
Discovering Snow (w/ @.:Raven:.) (I thought this roleplay's interaction would be interesting to put in as it progressed, with the young, kit-like Amberpaw and the mature, no-nonsense Mudspeck. Hmm… we'll have to see how their relationship turns out) My character: Amberpaw Raven's character: Mudspeck
Amberpaw gave Mudspeck a nod and stuck close to his side, yet she was literally bouncing with excitement. The world around her was absolutely amazing; the snow all around them was something she had never seen before. "What is it...?" she mewed in wonder. She gingerly raised a paw and tentatively set it into the sparkling, white fluff, then immediately withdrew it. "Gah! It's cold!" “Mudspeck watched his apprentice and waited to answer her question as he saw that she was gonna touch the snow. He gave a slight smile afterwards. "It's called snow, it falls only during this season, and it's cold." He added and looked around the territory, he was really getting sick of all this snow, but it's not like he could do something about it. "I'm not really fond of snow." He admitted as they kept on walking” “Amberpaw let out a light mrrow of laughter, suddenly bounding around in the snow, flinging it into the air only to bat it back to the ground. She was acting like a kit, but she didn't realize it; she was having way too much fun!” “Mudspeck looked at his apprentice. "Amberpaw, we should get going, staying outside for so long, in this cold temperature isn't the best thing, I can tell you that." He said as he watched her fling some snow into the air, he wanted to show her around the territory before it got even colder.” “Amberpaw was in mid-air as Mudspeck spoke, and at the distraction of his voice, she fell face first into the snow with a wumph! She leaped to her paws, wiping snow off her face with a forepaw and shaking the white fluff from her pelt before bounding over to her mentor. She brushed her tail across her forehead in a playful salute. "Yes, Mudspeck!," she meowed, struggling to keep a serious expression. But with snow on her muzzle and the youthful glint in her eye, she looked quite silly.” “Mudspeck looked at his apprentice as she fell face first in the snow and remained calm, he didn't really want to lose time with training and showing her around the territory. The tom looked forward and watched his surroundings carefully. "You'll have to be a lot more serious about your training, Amberpaw." He said as he walked behind her, shaking his paws after every step” ((ONGOING))
A Little Adventure (w/ @JustJoye) (My favourite plot atm. I think it will be interesting if others could read about it here.) My character: Robinpaw JustJoye's character: Finneous
“What was this place? Finneous had wandered father this time than he usually ever did. He could tell not only by the unfamiliar landscape but by the throbbing in his pads, warning him that another mile might leave him injured. He decided to get a better vantage point and rushed towards a rocky structure a few tail-lengths away. His shoulders flex and he heaved himself up. the first step and his muscles rippled underneath his blue pelt as he neared the peak.
Once on top of the boulder, Finn could see the land he felt was so strange. Unbeknownst to him, this was SkyClan, a concept and a place he had hardly ever grappled with even when he was in the Dusk Syndicate. He marveled at how suddenly the landscape changed from the marsh he was so accustumed to to.. Whatever this was. He took a deep breath but didn't recognize any scent. Bent down and lapped at some soil strewn across the boulder but realized it was not nearly as acidic as his home's. The tomcat narrowed his eyes. Where am I?” “White, sparkling, fluffy snow was everywhere. In the trees, on the bushes, covering the ground. The young apprentice whom was trudging through the white fluff wanted to romp about and play in the sparkling wonderland, but she knew she needed to focus on her task, which was to hunt three pieces of Fresh Kill by herself. She let out a sigh; she wished she could play in the snow for just a few minutes... She made up her mind, and, after straightening her flower crown with a paw, she began to jump and fling snow in the air, letting out a small mrrow of laughter. She threw and batted the white fluff around, pretty much a game of moss-ball, but with snow. Suddenly, she threw a bunch of snow farther than she intended, and it flew over a large rock. A yowl of surprise was heard afterwards. Confused, the apprentice scrambled up the rock to see a tom there, and she realized she had accidentally hit him with the snow! She let out a little gasp. "Oh- oh! I'm sorry... I didn't mean to do that!" she started kneading her paws into the moss on the rock, which surprisingly had not a bit of snow. Well, except for what she threw, of course. She let out a little wail of despair. She... She might have killed him! She shook her head before padding closer to the tom. Are- are you okay? I didn't hurt you, did I?," she asked fearfully.” “Finn sighed. He was ready to give up his mental search for answers and seek them out on foot. He took a whiff, readied his shoulders, and immediately was hit in the face with a snow ball. He yowled and fell back on his haunches. Out of breath from both the cold and the blow, he let the snow slide down his face. Seconds later, a she-cat arrived. Finn could hardly make out her pelt, as his eyes were squinted almost shut to avoid the snow that still adorned his cheeks and forehead. "It, uh..." the tom began, pausing to wipe the wetness from his brow, "It's fine. I guess." He stood back up and shook himself of the cold, though there was really no escaping it due to the temperature. "I wasn't really expecting anything would hit me in the face today," he meowed, making eye-contact with the stranger. He might not have been expecting a snow ball to the face, but he could hardly hide his excitement. He was trained to be a fighter, this is what he lived for! A chance to show off his skills was just what he needed... but... He took a closer look at his acquaintance. She was wearing flowers on her head, she had been apologetic and her claws were retracted. Finn huffed a sigh, not caring to hide the fact that he was disappointed he wouldn't be beating her up. Almost as if the blow had caused short-term memory loss, Finn appeared to have to recollection of being lost, or of wandering anywhere at all. He sat blissfully unaware of his predicament, as if waiting to be prompted of it when the stranger again spoke.” “The apprentice let out a little sniffle, feeling tears gather in her eyes. "But... But it's not okay! What if I had hurt you?!" she stepped closer, then tentatively reached out a paw, setting it gently on top of his as a way of greeting, her tear-filled dark blue gaze meeting his. "My... My name's Robinpaw, by the way. It's nice to meet you. What's yours?" she felt her maw tremble as she struggled to not let out another wail. She felt really really bad about hitting the tom with the snow and wanted to do something, anything to make it up to him... She hated herself for being so foolish. Then, she suddenly had an idea. "Oh! I know, what if I hunt some prey for you? Maybe a nice rabbit or squirrel? I'm not the best hunter, but I can certainly try!" she gave him the best smile she could, though her maw was still trembling from the need to cry.” “Finn's head sort of shrunk into his neck in discomfort. He wasn't used to cat's being as.. apologetic as his stranger was being. "Don't worry about it," he said cooly, though he hardly felt cool, "And I'm fine, really, no harm done!" He watched her place her paw on his and instinctively pulled away. He wasn't aware of how sensitive the molly was and had no idea how she would react, but even if he had he wasn't the kind of cat that would pay attention to those type of things. When she told him her name his memory was jogged and for a moment, he forgot she was talking to him. A Clan name? Wait, where am I? "Wait, where am I?" He repeated his thoughts out loud, not having her her suggestion of catching him some prey.” “As Finn pulled his paw away, Robinpaw let out another little sniffle. She wasn't used to rejection. She gave him a shaky smile as he asked where he was. "SkyClan, of course! The best Clan there is! I was born here!" she proudly puffed up a bit. Then her face fell after a moment. "O- oh, I just remembered... It's probably not a good idea for you to be here... My Clan is very protective of their territory... Do you have some place to stay where we can talk?" she gazed at Finn a moment, then smiled. "Ya know, you're different from any cat I've ever met," she mewed softly.” “Skyclan. Finn knew he wasn't the brightest but he definitely did not remember SkyClan. He barely knew the other three. Or was it four? He let the ideas bounce around in his head for a second before giving up, deciding it was too much work for too little reward. He knew all that he needed to: he was in a Clan's territory, trespassing, actually, and looking to get home. But he was sort of stuck with this stranger... "Someplace where we can talk.." He thought out loud, twitching his ears with concentration. "I think I saw a hollow a little ways back," Finneous suggested after a second, trying to remember if the hollow was in or outside SkyClan's territory. His thoughts were interrupted by Robinpaw's gentle voice. Different? How? "I guess I might be a little bit stronger and a little bit funnier." The corners of his mouth turned up and an egotistic smile appearing on his face. He, too, puffed his chest a little with pride, clearly pleased.” “Robinpaw smiled and gave a nod before glancing around, only to bring her attention back to him at his next words. She let out a little purr of amusement. "Yeah, I guess so," she meowed, getting to her paws. She smiled brightly at him. "Lead the way, Finn", she mewed, giving a little wink. She knew he hadn't told her his name, but being a StarClan cat, she knew some things. I just hope when it's time to say goodbye, he will accept it, she thought a little sadly. She turned to Finneous with a smile on her maw, tail waving around, waiting for him to take her where they were going to go.” “Finn was glad his joke had gone over well. None of the cats he met while on his own were ever up for a laugh, it seemed. They were all preoccupied or angry. Nothing like Robinpaw. The Russian Blue was glad to show her the hollow. He turned and started in the direction he faintly remembered it being, though he couldn't be totally certain. Despite his mind being calm, it was apparent that he didn't pick up on her knowing his name. Subtleties were never something he was able to detect easily. He lead her first into the trees, thinking they would need cover in order to hide from the other Clan cats. When they reached where the woods started to thin, Finn wove his way into a bush, crouching on the ground as to not be seen. "Over there is where I saw the hollow," he told her, pointing with his ears to a drop in the landscape ahead. "But it's pretty open and I can smell other cats around. We're going to have to make a break for it." He couldn't hide the excitement in his tone as he told her the plan. His tail lashed back and forth, he was clearly eager to show off his speed.” “Robinpaw followed close behind for a few moments, only to scramble so she was walking beside him, her walk matching his pawstep for pawstep. She smiled at him brightly, this was all t of fun! She admired the beauty of nature around her, and she let out a contented sigh. When they reached the bush, she wriggled underneath it so she was close beside him, their pelts brushing, though she didn't notice, she was too preoccupied with their little adventure, a purr rumbling from deep in her throat. She let out a little mrrow of laughter at his excited tone, shaking her head, she then gazed at the tom, her indigo eyes sparkling with amusement. "Well, shall we?" she mewed, her tail brushing against the dirt beneath her. She could sense the tom's kit-like excitement, and, honestly, she had to admit that it's been many moons since she had seen a heart as truly innocent as his. She knew he had good times ahead of him. She kept a smile placed on her face as she waited for Finneous to let her know what to do.” “"We shall," Finn said in a fake accent, tipping his head in an overly polite, jokey manner. He steadied himself for a second and took a breath, ready to go. He gave Robinpaw a toothy smile before darting out of the bush. He heaved his body forward, favoring his hind legs. The wind was roaring in his ears an almost deafening noise. The grass whipped at his paws, stinging a little but he hardly payed attention. As he bounded along he looked over at his accomplice and stuck out his tongue, turning just as quickly back to the landscape. The small downhill ended up being bigger than he remembered, though, and his paws almost fell out from under him. His expression morphed as his fore paws caught the ground. At the last second Finn was able to stay vertical, swerving to the left into the secluded area around the crater he was leading them towards. He skidded to a halt. His chest rose and fell almost as fast as it felt he was going just seconds ago. Playing up his exhaustion for Robinpaw's amusement, he collapsed on the ground, letting his tongue hand out almost as if he was dead.” ((ONGOING))
The Wolf and the Lamb (w/ @Saturnalia) (The interaction between these two is just interesting, and they're just too cute. I think it'll be interesting for others to read about it here) My character: Littlepaw Saturnalia's character: Wolfpaw
“After what felt like moons in the quarantine zone wolfpaw finally felt free , finally was able to get back to work, finally was able to prove himself. And unsurprisingly , his mother wasn't pleased to find him back and out and about again , why didn't she like him? Yes he may be a pawful but....it was who he was! Why couldn't she accept that? Maybe it was because that he had dirty blood. He hissed at that as he padded to his mossbed, his father bigwig starclan knows where he's been , was responsible for this, why did blackberrypelt even meet him in the first place!? He hated his father for doing this to him. If he ever found that tom ,bigwig will regret it . But now what he needed was a good rest, he felt like he could sleep for moons, the chausie yawned as he circled his mossbed before plopping down and resting his head on his paws , his eyes lazily looking out of the dens entrance .” “After a whole moon stuck in that sick cat den, known as the Quarantine Zone, Littlepaw was glad to be back in camp; he sure hoped he wouldn't be going back to that horrid place any time soon. The small apprentice padded into the apprentices den, his small body shaking from the effort of the journey. He was blinking his light blue eyes sleepily, and his maw opened in a tiny yawn. He kept his gaze to the ground, avoiding eye contact with any cat, but that didn't help in the long run because his tiny paws stumbled over the chausie whom had spoken to him back at Quarantine. As he tripped, Littlepaw let out a small wail of surprise, falling over the other cat before falling on the ground flat on his face. The small apprentice shakily got to his paws, dipping his head as he slowly began to retreat, his pelt burning with embarrassment. "S... Sorry, Wolfpaw..." he mewed quietly, standing there just long enough to hear the other cat's reply. How would he react? Would he be mad? Maybe he might laugh? Littlepaw shuddered in horror at the thought that another cat may despise him. Stupid! Stupid!, the small white tom thought to himself. How could I be so clumsy and stupid? Littlepaw sat there, his head lowered and eyes squeezed shut, his pelt burning with embarrassment.” “just as he felt the invisible blanket of exhaustion covering him in an warm embrace enough to where he felt the tip of slumber , he suddenly yelped at someone falling over him causing the tom to stand up emedietly and shake his fur ,thus giving the at the moment unknown tom a deadly glare, one that would let the other know they were gonna be his fresh kill soon enough before perking his ears up and was wide eyed. It was him. if it ain't the little lamb. Or did I call him sheep? Eh....both fit....they sound like cute creatures and he's .....oddly cute . Maybe even adorable .... at that thought wolfpaw felt his cheeks burn enough to the point where it was unbearable making him shake his head knock it off ! BlackBerry doesn't like you now and I'm sure she'll tear off my pelt if she finds out I called another tom cute. Or something like that. he snorted in response before sitting down "just watch where your going next time ,sheep." he sort of snapped as he tried to make it so that he hated the tom as much as possible , not wanting to make BlackBerry hate him even more . He just wanted her to think he's normal....to accept him. And this surely wouldn't help. Right ?” “Littlepaw's eyes widened as Wolfpaw snapped at him, his ears pinning back on his head, the small apprentice backed up quickly, shaking even more than usual. His eyes were full of fear and despair, but instead of running away, he stood there a moment, stunned. His paws kneaded into the dirt beneath him, and he let out a little wail. "Does... Does every single cat in this camp hate me?! Even my own family... Doesn't anyone love me?!" he felt tears form in his eyes. Wolfpaw's name fits him..., Littlepaw thought to himself. To think that I had had a small crush on him... It was my worst mistake ever. Why, oh why? yes, it's true that Littlepaw had thought a lot about the chausie.... But, he had been so kind back in Quarantine... I... I should've known better... I'm not lovable... I'm just a pathetic lump of fur. tears were streaming freely down his face now. "I... I'm not lovable to anyone... Am I doomed to always be alone? No friends or family to care for me?" Littlepaw sobbed and turned away, scurrying to a corner, feeling his heart ache with sadness and loneliness.” “Wolfpaw flicked his ears as littlepaw spoke making him raise his eyebrow , he felt regret yes, he didn't deny it , but he wasnt gonna be those cats who babied everyone they came across. He had family issues yes,but he didn't whine about them in the open, he did it in his head and kept quiet . His fur bristled at how weak littlepaw seemed to be which made his claws threaten to unsheath he really is a lamb. he scoffed in his head. The tom rolled his eyes "man up. It's real life ,it's not gonna be rosy. Didn't anyone tell you that?" he meowed his tone mirroring his emotions as he kept his eyes on littlepaw "your not the only one who has those problems. Everyone in the clan may have them. Even the one your talking to right now. " he added giving a little hint to the other tom . The tom stood up and padded towards littlepaw till he was standing beside him and giving him a calmer glance before he had a gleam in his eyes "it's your job to claw life in the face. Make it so that it regrets having to put you through things like that. Be the top dog of your world... " he meowed calmly in his own way in trying to cheer him up before purring a bit "don't be so dramatic lamb " he purred as he felt his cheeks burn yet again . His eyes finally showing some affection when he spoke .” “Littlepaw sensed Wolfpaw's thoughts, and his head snapped up, fire in his blue eyes. "I can't help the fact that I am weak," he said, his voice a deadly calm. I have multiple sclerosis. That makes me naturally weak; I can't become any stronger because of it. How do you expect me to get strong?" his eyes softened, however, at the chausie's words, getting the subtle hint. "And, I'm sorry if I seem to be self-centered, but I know I'm not the only one facing these problems. But does that mean I don't have the right to long for companionship and comfort? I... I haven't experienced those things in so long, that I don't even know what they're like. I only know rejection, coldness, and cruelty. I haven't been loved for as long as I can remember... And then you... You were so kind to me in Quarantine..." the small apprentice trailed off, his eyes clouding. As Wolfpaw came close to him, however, Littlepaw suddenly flinched noticeably, afraid the chausie would snap at him again or hit him or something. then , at his words, Littlepaw felt his pelt burn and he scooted away. "I- I- I- I don't mean to be... J... Just don't get too close, please..." he gazed down at his paws before glancing back up, and his eyes widened at the affection in the black chausie's gaze. Littlepaw gave him the tiniest of smiles.” “wolfpaw flicked his ears as he listened and sat down his eyes showing that he is actually paying attention . Although his eyes slowly widened at the fact that littlepaw had multiple sclerosis , that he didn't know before ,but in his mind littlepaw can still prove that it he's strong in many ways. Regret hit him like a monster on the thunderpath.....making him slightly flinch at the words before tilting his head "I'm sorry ...I didn't know....but you can still claw life in the face. You can show that your stronger in many ways . Not just by fighting . Which is what a prefer but...you know..." he meowed before clearing his throat " well , one it's their fault not yours. You can still make a difference in that you just have to find the right ones. And two be proud that your not in a relationship ...you show that you can rely on yourself . I used to feel that way littlepaw trust me. But now I don't care . It's their loss , their the messed up ones ." he meowed as he tried his best . Although he felt as if his heart could melt at littlepaws reaction making him smile in that googoo eyed way that queens get when they watch their kits , so darn adorable ! Why does he have to be so dang cute!? he just purred again "what ever you say ,you know has anyone told you that your cute when you do that?" he meowed before clearing his throat " and besides , I was bored and figured it wouldn't hurt to chat with somebody ." he added now looking at his paws out of the embarrassment that was slowly rising .” “As Wolfpaw apologized, Littlepaw gazed back down at his paws. "It's fine...," he mumbled. As the chausie continued to speak, the small apprentice glanced up, wide eyed "You mean like revenge?," he squeaked, horrified. Then when Wolfpaw said it wasn't Little's fault that nobody seemed to care about him, the small apprentice felt a weight in his belly. But... It is my fault... My mom and dad always say that it's my fault they don't love me, he thought. they say that I'm useless and pathetic because of my illness. That if I hadn't been born with this stupid disease, cats would love me. he felt the weight swell to his chest, and his shaking got a little worse as memories of his kithood went through his mind: his mother slapping him hard with her tail; his father turning his back on him when he begged to play; his mother digging her nails into his back and hissing insults and threats into his ear. Littlepaw was suddenly snapped out of it when Wolfpaw claimed he used to feel the way he did, and the small apprentice's ears twitched. "W-well... I guess I need to get over it, huh? ...eheh..." his eyes suddenly widened at the chausie's next words, and Littlepaw's eyes narrowed, fire flaring in his blue orbs, and he tried to keep his fur from bristling. "I am not cute," he meowed with resentment evident in his tone, though it wasn't aimed at the chausie; rather, it was aimed at himself. "Nobody thinks I'm cute; I'll never be cute; I am NOT CUTE!" he had jumped to his paws, and he slumped down to the ground, the fight gone out of him. He then glanced up at Wolfpaw shyly. "s... sorry.... do... do you really think I'm cute? Nobody has ever said that about me." he felt his fur fluff up with embarrassment, his pelt burning. At the chausie's next words, however, the small apprentice felt a bit of pity for the other tom and gazed up at him, then stretched up his head to run his jaw along the other tom's muzzle briefly in a comforting manner before quickly pulling away and settling down, tucking his shaky paws underneath him. He tried his best to look normal, but his constant shaking didn't help much. He gazed up at Wolfpaw. "W... Well... I guess we could chat awhile... Just no funny stuff, okay...? he gave the chausie a tiny smile, a small sparkle in his blue orbs.” “His ears twitched again this time he smiled but was wide eyed at what the other tom said making him shake his head "no! Not like that ....well...I mean it depends on the cat but....you know...the choice is yours and all that foxdung." he meowed somewhat quickly before sighing why is this so difficult ?....And they ask why I do things alone. he already felt the want to hide away, to mope and glare at everyone like usual , as littlepaw kept rambling which it's what it seemed like in his opinion he decided to sink down into a laying position but he layed on his left side almost like a panther would. Soon after he yawned as he felt exhaustion return and was trying to take back its control , he gave littlepaw a lazy smile before his head perked up out of shock at the small outburst but he just smirked "like I said it's their loss. And they must be blind . Because all I see is a cute wittle lamb . Say it all you want but you'll never change my mind ~" he purred back before tilting his head and nodding " do pigs fly? Of course I think so! How many times do I have to say it?" he meowed with his tail swishing calmly . Wolfpaw however flinched out of surprise at littlepaws next move , he knew it was for comfort but he felt greatly embarrassed which caused his cheeks to burn like fire, he wasn't used to all this contact ... Not even with his parents ... Not even his mentor honeychirp , he didn't have any hatred towards the Molly though . Blackberrypelt gave him glares and an occasional swat with her tail if he did something she really didn't like , and mainly harsh scoldings and arguments , all because he was him.....no wonder why she wished he would have died instead of sweetpaw. His sister was the better out of both. Part of him cherished the madness he caused BlackBerry but the other part of him...was scared...scared of her abandoning him one day.....just because she had enough. The chausie smiled again before grinning "no funny stuff? So I guess jokes and tricks are out ......bummer..." he meowed with a small shrug.” ((ONGOING))
